New Funders Everywhere!

After surviving on two funders throughout the GFC, SER has now signed off on three new P and A's, to make it five funders who will now accept the SER Rental agreement.  (It has been many years since we had five funders.)

We generally don't discuss our funding panel very often; however we would like to introduce you to them all just this once, so that you can see why we are so excited.

1. Capital Finance – owned by Lloyds – we have dealt with them since 1996 – SER just won their “Strategic Partner of The Year for 2011” as per the article below.

2. Macquarie Equipment Rental – dealt with them since 2007 – we are one of the few brokers in their “preferred” category.

3. Flexirent – now in the commercial finance space – settled our first transaction with them in June this year.

4. De Lage Landen – owned by Rabo Bank – settled our first transaction with them in July this year.

5. Thorn Australia – public company – new to the commercial finance space – settled our first transaction in August this year.

This means five times the chances of approval, five times the chances of flexibility and five times the chance of being able to match the right funding to the right client.

Significantly for SER, we can now explore equipment other than copiers, as those not selling copiers have had to do without a sales aid finance solution for a few years now and they will be very relieved to be able to offer a quality point of sale finance solution to their customers.

For those selling copiers, we now have five different credit matrixes, which all have variations that result in huge diversity of credit requirements.  In other words, if we cannot get it done- it can't be done!

For example, one of our new funders recently approved and settled a large government transaction, based on a “Letter of Understanding” with the vendor.  That's right- no finance agreement was signed.  This was extraordinary considering the transaction was for more than 60 pieces of equipment.  No wonder your SER Account Managers are smiling when they visit.  It has been years since we have had the type of flexibility we are now enjoying and hence able to offer.
